11: Who knows how long I've been awake now? The shadows on my wall don't sleep

Ihana lumi on sulanut! Mä oon niin pettynyt. Vielä pettyneempi olin kun katsoin tyhmiä ennustuksia ja joulu taidetaan olla myös ilman lunta!!

Meidän vaatimaton kauppakeskuksemme on muuttunut ihanan jouluiseksi ja mun mielestä on ihanaa kävellä ohi joulukuusien, kauniiden näyteikkunoiden ja kranssien. Kaikki tuntuu niin erityiseltä, vaikka Dublinin kadut olivatkin kevyesti koristeellisemmat. 

 Viime jouluna oli aivan täydellistä tulla kotiin lomalle kun jouluna oli jo ihan älyttömästi lunta. Mun jokainen vierailu Suomessa oli lähes täydellinen juuri siitä syystä, että sää oli aina ihan täydellinen mun mielestä!

Mun ensimmäinen ilta takaisin Suomessa joululomalla ja kävelin yksin Kotkan katuja. Oli ihanaa olla ihan yksin hetki ennen kaikkien rakkaiden näkemistä ja vaan katsella niin rakasta kaupunkia <3

Luukkuna tänään vuorossa meille lähes jokaiselle niin tärkeä asia kun musiikki.

Mä olen aina elänyt vahvasti musiikin kautta ja olen yhdistänyt monta biisiä eri elämäntilanteisiin, tapahtumiin, tunteisiin tai ihmisiin. Meistä jokainen ottaa jotkut biisit omikseen ja taas tietynlainen musiikki ei miellytä yhtään. Mä voin sanoa tykkääväni, vaikka ja mistä ja välillä menee vähän ylikin.

 Ylhäällä olevasta kuvasta voi todeta miten kevyesti sekosin One Directionista kun asuin Irlannissa. (Olin myös kevyesti koukussa tekoripsiin.)

Mun perheeni kolme poikaa olivat ihan älyttömiä faneja ja siitä se sitten lähti. Parin kuukauden jälkeen olin jo ihan rakastunut bändiin. Hassua oli myös se, että suurinosa kotimaisesta musiikista kuulosti ihan kauhealta ja vasta kesän mittaan totuin taas kuuntelemaan Suomenkielistä musiikkia.

Mun mielestä on välillä tosi pelottavaa miten voimakkaasti joku biisi oikeasti vaikuttaa. Esim Pendulumin- Watercolour ja Brädin- lämpöö saa molemmat mulle kylmät väreet eikä mitenkään hyvällä tavalla. En halua kuunnella noita biisejä, mutta en mä sekoa jos ne radiosta soi. On vaan niin outoa, koska oon tiedostanu koko pahan olon vasta joku puoli vuotta tai jopa pari vuotta sen jälkeen kun biisin on kuullut ekaa kertaa. hrrr pelottavaa.

Musiikin kautta pystyy myös ilmaisemaan tunteita ja ajatuksia. Kun omat sanat ei riitä, miksei lainaisi jonkun toisen sanoja, jotka on sovitettu kauniiseen musiikkiin?

Olen itessäni huomannut myös sellaisen asian, että tietty musiikki on kausiluonteista. Kuuntelen syksyisin aina Hurtsia! Ihan sama kuinka hyvällä tai huonolla tuulella olen niin Hurts on aina soimassa. Jouluna tietysti joululauluja ei varmaan mikään ylläri ja kesällä yleisesti aika menevää musiikkia.

Mun mielestä jokaiselle hetkellä tässä elämässä on täydellinen biisi. Se täydellinen kappale, joka kertoo kaiken tapahtuneesta ja ehkä tulevasta. Musiikki yhdistää ihmisiä ja se myös auttaa parantamaan haavoja. 

Mulla olisi ihan hirveästi kappaleita, joiden sanoja voisin tänne kirjoittaa, mä kuitenkin yritän pysyä minimissä ja ehkä valita sellaisia biisejä joita olen kuunnellut paljon ja jotka herättävät vähän voimakkaampia tunteita kun moni muu kappale. Nämä ovat minulle erityisiä kappaleita.
